Magic Encyclopedia Moonlight Mystery is a hidden-object game in which you solve a mystery of disappearance of a professor. Throughout the game you will travel from place to place looking for clues that help you locate the professor before the moon is full.
The scenes look really detailed and the objects are camouflaged with the background which makes them more difficult to find. In this case, the objects to find are shown at the bottom of the screen as silhouettes, but to complete an object you have to find all its pieces, which are scattered all over the place. When you find them all, the object will appear on the right and you can use it to unlock pieces of other objects that are hidden in the scene behind other objects. When you find all the objects, a clue may be revealed and you are asked to play a mini game. Mini games are optional, but they give you extra points if you play them. Also, as you progress, all the mini-games you play will appear in the Mini-games section in the main menu for you to play them whenever you want. This could be considered a second mode.
In addition to this, the game features nice graphics, with attractive scenes and an interesting story. Sound effects are average, but the music is nice. All in all, Magic Encyclopedia Moonlight Mystery in an interesting game, which is not really challenging, but will keep you playing for a while.
